Founded in 1987 as a partnership by Tom Conroy and Mike Bing. Mike later being bought out by Tom, our mission was then and is now to provide professional installations of quality products with a commitment to long term service.
Over the years, we have moved the business from New London to Groton, then t
o Middletown and most recently to Baltic.
Due to the recession of 2008 combined with the passing of Tom Conroy in August 2009, Tech-Star has seen some very difficult times. Many of our customers are well acquainted with Evan, Tom's right hand man for over 14 years. Evan is still the Installation Manager for Tech-Star and is actively involved in the day to day running of the company. Our goal remains consistant, to provide a quality product and install at a fair affordable price. Our customers always come first. Just ask them. We have over 12,000 through out Connecticut and we are always prepared to provide references in your area.
We have put together a very comprehensive business plan for the first ten years of the new millenium and we look forward to adding more customers to our family.
